I’ve managed to get hold of audio of Glen Buxton playing ‘I’m Eighteen’ with The Dead Boys, that took place at the CBGB’s benefit for drummer Johnny Blitz, on this day May 7th in 1978.

Re: UK Dates 2024
As a matter of interest i got good tickets for Leeds and London on the Wednesday pre sale, but also had a look today on the main sale and the tickets weren’t as good, so pre sale still a better option than waiting until main sale. I don't think you can say that is *always* true. It seems very rando...

Re: Alice UK presale 10am tomorrow
Is there a trend that one presale, historically, has the better seats available … axs (that ac.com) links to or ticketmaster. Or is there no real difference. Generally none of them have any decent seats unless you are buying VIPs etc. As a matter of interest i got good tickets for Leeds and London ...

Re: Vampyre Cosmetics
Woke culture gone mad! Let’s look at what Alice actually said “I’m understanding that there are cases of transgender, but I’m afraid that it’s also a fad, and I’m afraid there’s a lot of people claiming to be this just because they want to be that. I find it wrong when you’ve got a 6-year-old kid wh...

Re: Song Writing Credits And Percentages
Yes, publishing gets half of the royalties but BMI and ASCAP tabulate it separately as 100% for publishing and 100% for song writing. Songs that I wrote and publish through Dreary Music show up on my royalty statements as 200%. Yes I was stating how the UK collection agency PRS for music do it. Obv...

Re: Song Writing Credits And Percentages
1) With songs like School's Out and I'm Eighteen where all five of you are credited as writers, would the percentages be equal royalty wise? 20% each for all of you? Both songs are often referred to as " Glens' songs " where he wouldn't be turned down in the mix live on stage. Was Glen afforded a b...

Re: Alice says he had nothing to do with "Killer" and "School's Out" remasters
People suggesting even School's Out could be rested aren't being realistic. It's by far his biggest and most important song. It will never be dropped and it shouldn't be. Other essential songs would probably be Poison, I'm Eighteen and Feed My Frankenstein - all because of their instant recognisabi...

BTW, is there any info on the pre-Reflectex version of Elected? Last time I checked I don't think I could fund any info on the main site, but I could be wrong. It was floating around YouTube for awhile along with all those other ACG demos. It sounds like PFY-Era, but even rougher The original ‘Elec...

Re: Do overs?
I always think of David Gilmour’s guitar solo on ‘Comfortably Numb’ which as arguably the greatest guitar solo of all time, was also a first take. Bob said to him you’ve nailed it, David thought he could do a better one, but the first one was the one they went with. That’s what a great producer does...

Unreleased song Head Lice
Hi Dennis,
I was looking through your song writing credits on the PRS database, and noticed a song called ‘Head Lice’ written by you, Michael, Glen and Alice.
What can you tell us about that song?

Re: Vampires UK tour dates just announced
The farcical system nowadays is that you're better off leaving it to the last minute, which has an element of risk of course, if you want to get the best seats. For many, many reasons, buying gig tickets is now nothing but pain and frustration. I never thought I'd long for the days of queueing over...
