Re: Who Knows ?
If anything inspired Alice for this, I would guess it came from here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H3dFh6GA-A Of course. That`s why It's (I) refer to it as the Frankenstein table. Alice has even used the dialogue on stage before FMF from time to time. Which is why I don't believe for one second...

Hells teeth people, surely nobody here really thinks that this song had any influence on this terrible barbaric act.

Re: The BEST Alice Cooper song of all time!!!
This is near impossible, every time I read a new posting I think..yeah that one, no that one, no..... Ok the quiet room, sideshow, second coming. No I'm going for 'under my wheels' live from the Glasgow Apollo (B side of 'for Britain only) because I was there and it was the highlight of a truly mag...

Difficult to pick a favourite but I'd probably go for Theatre Of Death as I just loved that show. However, I'll be listening to the St Louis one tonight - 42 years ago today!

European tour - 1972
I'm curious about the setlist of a 1972 gig that I heard recently. It was allegedly recorded in Switzerland on 26th November 1972 (the last night of the European tour?). Now, the thing that is puzzling me is that it includes the Beatles song 'Hard Days Night' as the encore. I know that this song was...

Maybe not the best band I ever saw, but not very far off it.Mike Drew wrote:"Without doubt SAHB were the best band I ever saw live."
Indeedy!!....Nice One
Maybe Alice could cover 'Next'
I fondly remember the look of horror on my parents face when they saw SAHB perform it on the Whistle Test.

Re: Alice or Ozzy
Doubtless my 2 favourite artists.Doubtless a tour with both of them would be my ultimate dream. Why not so far :( ? I think it's crazy they haven't toured together. The both started around the same time about 45 years ago, both have the whole "shock rock" reputation and seem to be friendly with each...

Re: Paul Morley interviews Alice for NME, 1982
I remember reading that article when it was first published.
Thought it was weird then, and the passage of time hasn't improved it any.
I've always been of the opinion that Morley embellishes some of his interviews.

Re: OLD SCHOOL 1964-1974 one year later...
So if the "Solo Years" box set includes the Los Angeles 1975, Saginaw 1978, San Diego 1979 and El Paso 1980 shows - we all cool with that? I for one wouldn't mind an official release of these in a nicely presented package. I was delighted with how much better quality the old school version of kille...

Ho hum. Now I know why I don't bother posting here. Did anybody see Alice on the Ronnie Wood show a few weeks ago ? (Yes, I know there's a seperate discussion for this.) Now, that was interesting. Fantastic to see Alice and Ronnie really getting into the music they were listening to. Just watching t...

Re: Gallus. Cooper this weekend
I'm more of a lurker than a poster here, but I must agree with some other posters about the standard of Gallus Cooper. They really are excellent. I saw them as couple of years ago (along with another regular poster here) and they really were very good. And it was great to meet young Bill Crowe with ...
