Mary Ann ( single version) ?

It was a single somewhere?
B'Side of 'Billion Dollar Babies'. Although I don't think I was aware of there being any differences to the album version.

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

While I agree with everyone suggesting there's likely nothing new included here, the one thing we can probably be assured off is that the LP packaging will be first class... and isn't that 90% of why a lot of us buy these vinyl reissues? If it was just any new material we would only buy the CD versi...

ALICE COOPER Billion Dollar Babies “Trillion Dollar” Deluxe Edition 3-LP & 2-CD Version With Remastered Sound, Outtakes, Live Tracks, And More Arriving March 8 “Hello Hooray,” a new version of Billion Dollar Babies, is on the way as Alice Cooper’s delightfully subversive sixth album returns in all i...

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

Interesting. So track 1-21, 24,25,30 are all previously on the 2CD deluxe edition from years ago - assuming the live tracks are from the same show (Houston) used on that and the RSD vinyl release. It may not be as several shows were recorded. 22 and 23 are presumably the missing tracks to complete t...

Re: 2024

Melbourne venue is a genuine surprise, only 10 mins from my house. Not keen on festivals in general, as you need to get a good spot early and protect it for hours by the time Alice comes on. That said, this is a genuinely good line up. I've found in the past that often the hardcore fans of the band...

Re: Empire Pool (Wembley) 1972 Setlist

Setlist.fm is quite dependable for questions like this. Setlists.fm IS a useful resource for sure, especially for more recent shows, but the further back you go the more you find people just guessing, as there are no recordings to show what was actually played on a specific night. It's easy to do f...

any idea why cooper didnt sing this song?
As i said above, I think it was to do with the theatrics happening on stage. Same way as Michael Bruce used to sing I Love The Dead during the guillotine.

Re: The Lace and Whiskey Era

oh wow thanks for the info. Still a pity tho. What do you know about a good audio recording of Madhouse Rocks with all straped up in it. I have a radio broadcast but it cuts out serious and some other things Yeah, that's another one. Very few FTI show recordings around and the few with All Strapped...

Re: The Lace and Whiskey Era

... i just wish i could find a good live concert of this show with king of the silver screen... As far as I can tell there simply isn't a good recording of it. There are very few recordings from the L&W tour and what there are, apart from Saginaw and Anaheim, are pretty poor. Interestingly it seems...

Re: Slicker Than A Weasel

Alice’s vocals sounded really good . Maybe Bernie Taupin got in the 2 Elton guys, as he was writing with him then too. I was actually blown away by how good all this sounded, especially after the dire L&W album This 1978 tour was supposedly Alice's first sober tour. FTI seems to have been written e...

Re: Slicker Than A Weasel

Are “Back On Blacks” all bootlegs ? On the inside slip cover they are listing the “Live In Montreux” I believe if they are re-releases of officially released material (like Montreaux) they are generally legally licenced and so could be considered official. Radio shows like the Toronto 69 (freak out...

Re: Slicker Than A Weasel

I don’t understand why it is so hard to find complete set Because it's a bootleg from a radio broadcast and the complete set was never aired. There WAS more then one broadcast and I think slightly different song lists were played at different broadcasts but a few songs have never been aired at all ...

Re: Would you visit an Alice Cooper avatar show ?

Possibly... once.. just so I know what the show was like first hand. However I'm not convinced the technology is quite there yet to do this as effectively as it probably will be in a decades time.. I'm a little surprised they have gone for Eric and Tommy's images. I would have thought the money woul...

Would love to see sales numbers for this though.
My guess would be 500 copies of the big one and 1000 copies of the smaller one

That's how many they are supposed to be making. ;)
