Re: Glen gets head butted by Norman Mailer

I assumed it was about G. Sobel and apparently my eyes assumed as well while I read the OP.

Boy, was I ever confused there for a second :D :D

BTW, it is on Spotify as well, if you don't have the box and want better quality than youtube.

Re: Revisiting No More Mr. Nice Guy - Live at Alexander Palace

I agree with many of you - it is definately a matter of taste, and also all the bands I have heard are superb. I don't necessarily agree with the problem with three guitars, as Tommy's is clearly on a different role and I think he is there more for backing vocals, anyway. Keys would be interesting. ...

Revisiting No More Mr. Nice Guy - Live at Alexander Palace

I have been listening to the different live recordings lately. I have about 30 minutes to drive on a motorway to work every day. With a silent car and a good audio system it's some of the best time I have in life :) To my great surprise I like the No Mr. Nice Guy - Live at Alexandra Palace the best....

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

Which reminds me of something that has really bothered me for a long time now, and perhaps enough time has passed - Hunter and Huntress denied it, but was there something going on with Ori that lead him (Steve) to leave the band out of the blue? Steve didn't leave the band "out of the blue." He sta...

Re: Interesting (from Popoff book)

I am about 99% that I remember that Alice planned to include Orianthi in the HV before the trainwreck that was Sambora took her away. I would think that would sorta hint towards Alice being comfortable writing with her - but we do not know. Maybe it was just marketing and he only meant to take her a...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

If Alice played Freedom and snake bite this tour I would literally cream in my pants! Being a newbie to this board, and this year being my first AC concert, I wanted to ask you guys a question... Are the albums "Trash" and "hey stoopid" frowned upon by some of the more old school AC fans? I've seen...

Re: ‘Ol black eyes is back Tour

I wonder if he will stick with the three guitarists, or whether we will see the return of a keyboard player I've not seen or heard anything to suggest the line-up will change any time soon. All the current musicians have posted things to show they are gearing up for the new tour. Yeah, besides, I h...

Re: The Beach Boy-i-fication of the the bad.

EDIT: Sorry for the wall of text. TL;DR Musicians came and went in studios and more often than not were not credited at all at the time. It was completely normal and business as usual. You can look at other bands with less divisive history and thus less divided fan base and see how Ezrin worked. I t...

I see that Ori made it as a quest in LA. Nice to see. Jesus, she is thin these days though. I hope she is well.

Re: Tour 2018!

Just as an FYI to anyone going to one of the first two shows of the upcoming leg, Nita has posted that she will be missing those two shows to attend her sister's wedding. Darned fine reason to miss, I'd say! If I am interpreting things right, I think Ori might be free from her previous project of t...

Re: Sorry,....Hollywood Vampires....

I like the current band for Alice. They have the (relative) youth and experience to keep the energy level high and I certainly don't think they overplay things. This is 2018 and doing it the old way would have killed the career years ago imo. While I loved the old band last year I felt it was just e...

Re: Another new live Alice dvd when??

I would pay good money to hear World needs guts and pain not to mention see nita shred the ever loving out of the songs. Me too. I understand the need to take financial matters into consideration from Alice corp.'s POV. I don't, however, understand that fans do not want more material to be released...

Re: I still think Paranormal is mediocre........

"Guest" musicians is something Ezrin has always done. It is very evident in Alice's career and even more so with bands like Kiss and Aerosmith where people that actually play on the records were never actually really talked about or mentioned - and while some people seem to think they know now, I do...

Who plays the guitar on Fireball? I think it was Denander but I am sure someone here knows.
