Re: Alice looks back on 12 career-defining albums

I guess you're right, But I do suspect that Alice likes to "add a Little spice" some times when he's interviewed.

Just goes to show that you can't trust what you read, not even from the man himself.
Someone might claim " they were using snakes and guillotins as early as '69, Alice said so himself".

Re: Alice looks back on 12 career-defining albums

And another one: ’ He asked me where we were from, and when I told him Phoenix, he said, ‘I thought you were from London or somewhere like that. You have snakes and guillotines, and you’re from Phoenix? Now I really don’t get it.’ In 1969, Zappa would never have heard of snakes or guillotins in AC's...

Re: Alice looks back on 12 career-defining albums

Funny how Alice's memory of his past is some times different to that of his fans.
I don't recall Constrictor havong a sticker saying ‘Contains No Ballads", but I do remember Flush The Fashion having one saying "featuring: No Ballads" when I bought it.

What a shame it wasn't the right answer in relation to Lucius Mothem's statement. Pinkerton did not ask which show Lucius was referring to or why...

I don't think that's the show Lucius Morthem is referring to

No, but it answers Pinkerton's question.

Apparently, Alice was in Chile in '95.
There's a bootleg recording from the show, shown on this site's "bootleg" section.

Re: All you want is in the limo

Fair enough, Si. I will take care. The site I linked to has lots of AC pics apart from the "adult" ones, from their/his visits to Copenhagen in 71, 72, 74 and 75. interesting stuff, I just wanted to share them. Interested fans can Google "Jorgen Angel Alice Cooper" and find them. The search will als...

Re: All you want is in the limo

Oh yeah, Si you mentioned the Google Black listing issue.
That does make sence.
Question is then: Should you consider this site to be an "adult" site to make it a free democratic site ?
After all, how many Sickthings are under 18 ?
Again, not critizising just suggesting.

Re: All you want is in the limo

There are plenty of examples of people being very rude to each other here without swearing. Whether you are called ignorant or a stupid mf, doesn't make any difference to me. Whether Alice swears or not doesn't mean Jack s*** ( :x ) to me either. I still feel swear words can help express certain fee...

Re: All you want is in the limo

Point taken, Si.

I just thjink the rules are being enforced to the extreme. After all, it wasn't a porn site I linked to, but a R&R photo site which happens to have a few pics of nude women.

Re: All you want is in the limo

I probably did, it's quite a few years ago. It did not cross my mind that children would be traumatized by those pics. A pre puberty kid would most likely just shake his/her head and move on to more interesting stuff and kids who are interested in "overt sexual nature" have plenty other sites to cho...

Re: All you want is in the limo

Well, I never expected an Alice Cooper fan site to be the house of morality and censorship. What is this world coming to :bam:

Anyway, my point was just to prove it took place in Copenhagen, not Amsterdam.

Re: All you want is in the limo

Just got the book. did a little flick through it and it looks very promising. I also found an error, which is kinda worrying just from a brief look through. There is a Picture from a live sex show the band and associates attended during the SO tour. Book says it was in Amsterdam, but I know for sure...

Hey GNDM,

Where's that Buxton - Shiny New Dime page ?

If I Google it, I only get hits for Mike and Dennis' FB pages which don't seem to have any links.

Re: Uncle Alice Presents---New Comic Book and TV Series???

I was amazed to see the number of replies to this post.

I really don't care much for cartoons, golf or religious foundations. I hope Alice will concentrate on making a proper rock album now. It's about time.

All IMO of course.

Re: Blue Coupe, Hertford last night (spoilers)

Would love to see Blue Coupe. Just of curiosity, what is the attendance like, do they sell out, close to or not at all ? Find it a bit sad that they resort to an Alice imporsonator, even just for an encore. I do respect Gallus Cooper and other AC cover bands, but I don't think they should be mixed w...

I suppose the DD/NS interviews are recent and not from ACG times ?
