Re: "School's Out" - Limited Edition Audio Fidelity Gold CD!

I'll be doing the same also and hopefully all of you. These only have a limited pressing before they are gone. These Gold disks have a large fan base as well so it will be more then Alice fans eating these up.

I can't wait.

Re: "School's Out" - Limited Edition Audio Fidelity Gold CD!

cant wait for this!! wish it had a cooler cover though...does anyone know if any of the other albums with that kind of default cover had cool liner notes?? It's the same cover they have been issuing these CD's since the eighties. Let's not mess with them. All the art used for the album is exactly r...

Re: Rhino re-releases

Nope, no sound improvement. These are direct duplicates of previous transfers. Only difference is copyright adjustments and the insertion of the Rhino logo on the sleeve. Sadly they have no plans on releasing SF Zipper or Dada, at least not now. Sadly no new information on the new boxset hasn't been...

Yah he played both Raped and Desperado on the first leg of his tour. Sadly he dropped in on the second. I wonder why.

Re: Zipper and Dada never played live

I pray all the time to see material for the Drunkard Four played live but it's not that Alice doesn't like the material he's just simply a little biased about them. When I saw Alice briefly and had him sign my SF and Dada album he just said the same o'l line "Now here's two albums I don't remember m...

What ever is in the archive would make a great addition to the album as long as it's from the Schools Out sessions. I have a feeling it will be a straight set list album to preserve it's authenticity. At least this is how Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab handled these editions.

EDIT: Grammar.

It will be a treat because I thought both this album and killer will very flat mastered CD’s. Isn't Steve Hoffman best know for straight digital transfers to disk with the most bare bones manipulation?

It could only be a remaster version simply because a bare bones School’s Out cd had already been re-released last month or so by Rhino.

I was thinking the same thing. I also thought Model Citizen would be a real treat. It would ad a sort of John Wayne Gacy feel to his killer persona.

Special Forces would be on the list but it is weaker then Flush the Fashion even though it is my fave.

If we can have more then two underrated albums then Special Forces would be on there.
