Why orange?

This is fairly new. Anyone know why the Greatest Hits album cover is now being shown in orange across the web? It’s happening in the USA for certain. (Hopefully, the above link works.) For years, it used to be that “School’s Out” was being shown purple.

They have apparently gotten that color right just in time for this. They both look bad.

Well, I do believe The Nazz did say "Everything's Orange"
"I need everything the world owes me..."

I’ve been ruminating on this. My theory is that the “powers that be” must have done this on purpose to try and spur sales. Maybe an effort to make it look like there’s something new here? Either way, it looks like a mistake. Gotta admit, the grey lines (especially around Glen’s shoes) took some doing, so it’s not an accident. All told, if this is the best that they could do for ‘22, then they need new blood. Let it be said that the 50th anniversary for “School’s Out” has come and gone without a whisper. In fact, aside from the stellar “Astroturf” release, 2022 has been a dud. Shame. I hate Bitch Bitch Bitch-ing about Alice Cooper, but… come on. The faithful masses are in short supply.

It was posted in another thread in this Forum that the SO 50th Anniversary has been postponed until 2023. Here's the thread: https://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/forums/v ... 23#p312505

Ted
Thanks, Ted. I am looking forward to any anniversary releases, no matter what the year. That sound you hear is my foot tapping.
