I was about to go to bed when I got the ST newsletter!
Alice was in London today? Oooooh! So close and yet so far!

I'm tuned in, just finished listening to Monday's show, and I'm listening live now!

Cool little interview.

I realise that the show will be totally spoiled for me by the time I get to see it... unless I find a way to go to London in December without having to eat snails and rats for the rest of the year.

But really this all sounds so exciting!

What did the interview? Any hints of what to expect on the show or songs?

One hint was "you've seen me hang, you've seen me on the guillotine", this will be ten time that

Very loosly paraphrased.

Alice said he loved the ideas as they were so unusal. That every fan will be surprised. We are used to the rhythm of his shows so we'll be very surprised to see this as it will be kind of "backwards" (his word)

You can hear it with the "listen again" function on the Planet Rock website

Is there a particular reason for Alice being in London, UK at this time?

Stopped in the UK to do some press and attend a charity event tonight before heading to Russia.

Yes and Si gave the reason on 1 June but as we know, you never read the "News" page.

Thanks Jaded.
you never read the "News" page.
I 'scim' over it daily, I must have missed that whilst living Andy.

Maybe you should read it a bit more carefully.

> I must have missed that whilst living Andy.

It would probably take less time to read the "News" page than it did for you to send in your last two posts.

Oh for the love of God why does a simple question have to turn into a hostile thread? Jaded answered the question for Gunner, with no sarcasm, couldn't it have been left at that?

I don't know, there is something wrong and it's a shame. However, I WILL answers questions and I will repsond to rude comments!

Excerpt from the email I just sent to Alice:

... we used to have a book called "Flattened Fauna" in our library (a UK published nature guide). We even had a photocopy of a flat rat inserted in the back of the book for documentation purposes...Ever tried to photocopy a rat? Of course it was roadkill and very flat already.....

:8):

He mentioned roadkill this morning so I had to tell about that story
