How about.. a video diary on the day in the life of the tour bus and shows with tour bus shenanagans, show prep, etc. Basically.. behind the scenes of a tour day!

well, I aways loved the ideia that Motley Crue had of making promotions to give away stff, like they did to a collection of theyr albuns autographed by everyone. Maybe something like taht would be great! And of course, ANYTHING that comes directly from Alice/Tour is great, I loved the blog idea 'cause it's him talking to us... that's really cool.

Probably best not to film or air anything that might violate that then. Just would be cool to feel like we're on the tour with them for a day (condensed down to 5-10 minutes or so obviously.)

The way the blog is going is great - in that if it's updated by different people - from the backstage crew to the onstage performers.. and the posts are rather frequently - it's going to be great to follow.

Maybe an email address for gig-goers to post their reviews or photo's to be selected for a publish every now and then would be great to see.


If video footage of the set-up is going to be hard to get, how about footage of the venue as the fans getting ready to go in ... maybe even footage of brief chats to fans about their story - could be interesting as you see a lot of variety of different people at an Alice gig, from the hardcore to the casual, young and old, parents and kids etc.

Funny things and just various pictures of the band and crew out sight seeing or throwing water ballons at each other would be great. We realize the privacy thing...keep it nice and out in the open.

And yes Elected Plus...fan footage is always funny.
Love to see the different types of people there.

Brilliant idea. I'm sure he'd have some great stories, not only about what he does to prep for the show on any given day but what he's experienced with the props and such.

I like the idea of a tour diary - daily tour notes and pics etc ( I know it can be timeconsuming , but doesn't have to be written by the same person each day )

I'm also already satisfied if the crew and band write regularly.

But I would love it if the blog had a RSS feed. I have too many blogs I follow and couldn't go and look them up daily. I thought there was one but no.

Also as much as I love being able to comment (none of my comment ever made it by the way) I am not sure it's a good idea to keep comments open. This quickly degenrerates into "private" messaging or flame wars. And it's a b... to have to control it daily, whoever is in charge of that.

Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I think most of the blogs should come from Alice himself. While I agree that it can be fun to hear about the tour shenanigans from the band/crew sometimes too, it is Alice's official website and he should be the primary blogger. Celebrities are all now blogging on their official websites and I don't think Alice should be any different.
As for what he should blog about: anything and everything! Hearing about the wild and crazy stuff that goes on during the tour would be a real treat for sure.
