Welcome To My Nightmare: Fifty Years of Alice Cooper
Does anyone have any solid info on this book? Has anyone seen any layouts? advance prints etc. It is bloomin expensive at £59.99 and the cover photo doesnt fill me with confidence.
Its a big risk at £60 was just hoping someone had seen/knows something

This is the price for the softcover/paperback and NOT for the deluxe version.kevinuk81 wrote:Amazon UK have this book priced at £24.99.

Nowhere in the original post was there any indication of what type of book or deluxe version mentioned.

Looks like a bunch of audience-based snapshots. I'll hold.

Re: Welcome To My Nightmare: Fifty Years of Alice Cooper
That was basically my issue. I know there are allot of great professional photos of alice but the bits they put on didnt show page layouts or anything just a few poorly taken photos.Looks like a bunch of audience-based snapshots. I'll hold.
Im interested but i am so wary, if it was good, wouldnt you want to show off page design, interview snippets etc?
Re: Welcome To My Nightmare: Fifty Years of Alice Cooper
I tried to order the deluxe book but having problems to complete my order?
Have already send them two emails for help but NO reaction at all, very strange.

Bare in mind though it was just a bank holiday weekend here so unlikely they were there until Tuesday.

I hope the content is better than the cover. He looks like an old lady.

I will say Martin Popoff has many books out and the guy knows his stuff. I got his Max Webster book and consider it a treasure

Re: Welcome To My Nightmare: Fifty Years of Alice Cooper
is that all the deluxe is then, a chance of your name on a page? or is it signed/numbered or such?
Re: Welcome To My Nightmare: Fifty Years of Alice Cooper
Think the deluxe is a hard cover and the normal one is paperback.killer wolf wrote:is that all the deluxe is then, a chance of your name on a page? or is it signed/numbered or such?
Still no reply from the publishers...

ta, would need something a bit more substantial that a hardcover to warrant my paying the extra cash.

I got the Max Webster book as well & love it!! I never expected there to ever be a book on Max Webster who are one of my favorite bands(along with Alice, Kiss, NY Dolls, Johnny Thunders, Alex Harvey, Iggy, & the Stones)... I thought Martin Popoff did a great job with the Max Webster book so I definitely will pick up his book on Alice Cooper
