Attended Nita Strauss meet and greet tonight in Orlando. According to her she will be on the Europe tour next summer. She would'nt reveal the rest of the years schedule but stated it is going to be very busy . The touring band is given blocks of time they will need to be available to tour but not all the details of where and when.

Can you give us some details about the meet and greet? What she was like in person, etc? I almost did that in my town on one of her tours, but had some other things come up. Thx!

They were still doing their sound check when we were allowed in so we heard part of that. Afterwards we met on the general admission floor where they had set up a Nita backdrop with lights. The M&G was limited to 30 people and sold out. Mostly older people but a few teenagers and kids with parents. 30 minute Q&A. She was very pleasant. Humble- not stuck up or anything. One of the kids gave her Minnie Mouse ears ( was at House of Blues at Disney Springs). She wore those for awhile and actually wore them while performing later. She answered everyones questions then took pictures with everyone and autographed whatever people wanted. Several people had guitars autographed. She spent some time talking to us each individually and that was it. We got a VIP only t-shirt, a t-shirt from her fiancee's company, a lanyard, autographed small poster and a small tote bag. This was the second time I have done this and would recommend it if you like Nita. She did say she did'nt know when any future ones would be after this tour as with the exception of one show in May at Rockville at Daytona she was going to be busy with Alice next year.

Thanks so much for the summary. I hate I missed mine!! Sounds like 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for Alice!

So much for her leaving. I said, that wouldn't make much sense for her.

Judging by the European festivals being announced, I would say chances are high

Happy new year fellow sick things! I have checked the shows in Europe for this year and even though some places seem to be very interesting, I don’t know if it’ll be easy for me to go to those places (I see lack of city capitals) . Do you think there are going more shows to be announced? I hope it is still early.

Not officially announced (yet) but it looks like an Australian tour with Deep Purple, Blondie and a bunch of others will likely be officially announced soon.

Melbourne venue is a genuine surprise, only 10 mins from my house. Not keen on festivals in general, as you need to get a good spot early and protect it for hours by the time Alice comes on. That said, this is a genuinely good line up.

I've found in the past that often the hardcore fans of the band before aren't that interested in the next act, and often there is a general exodus or shifting around at the front once the previous band finishes. The trick is to start slowly moving in from the side during the last song of the previous band, and slipping into the gaps left by people moving out. You can often get pretty close (two or three people from the barrier) that way.
Worked at Bloodstock and Sonisphere if I recall.

Got a really great Spot that way in Lisbon to see HV. Way too many people left after Korn interrupted set, was very far away from the stage but managed to get pretty close to the barrier.

Thanks for the tips, I'll give that a try.

More than likely it appears not until the Fall meaning there wont be any US dates probably announced for a while but should be coming out soon.

Yeah the Caribbean Gardens is a surprise, not keen on festivals either or paying for bands I have no interest in.

Exactly. I can count on one hand the festvials were I only made it to row 2. Usually I always get to the front row and start a band or two before the one I want to see comes on. There is no need to stand there like an idiot the whole day, when all the other bands don't interest you. And even if you do. Make friends with the people to the left and right and you can also leave for toilet breaks.

I see a big tour with Rob Zombie on August/September. I see no Hollywood Vampires shows announced until now, but that’s ok. At least we need some more AC European shows on July plz!

Disappointed with another Freaks run and closest show from me is 7 hours away. I would drive that for an Alice show but not for this. Holding out hope for a short Alice run in fall
