Re: Billion Dollar Belt ?
It looks like something a fan created.
I don't know if it was created for AC or the band but, maybe some other SickThings have a better idea of where it comes from.

Thanks. Its incredibly well made if its home made- the stitching and edging look machined and the buckle and rivets are even and symmetrical. Maybe it was stage wear?

Re: Billion Dollar Belt ?
Not stage wear but an aftermarket item or items is a likely conclusion.

No bids so far & only 2 days left. Minimum bid 1,200 Pounds(did I get that correct?). Seller may be correct about Satin bills but the stitching may have ruined that resale value. Still may be a one - off I do believe.

Re: Billion Dollar Belt ?
That's certainly a very optimistic price to be charging. Even if it was a genuine piece of stage wear, which was worn by one of the band throughout the entire Billion Dollar Babies tour, is there anyone around that is going to pay a price like that? I think we know the answer.

Beware, The item didn't get any bids, the 9 watchers are gone & it has been re-listed for the same amount!
I don't know if it is eBay or Dr. Chickentown but, I have received a multitude of Spam after viewing & commenting on this item. Not from Dr. C because I don't know the e-mail. However, they've come from multiple sites & many list eBay for originating address - ignore & delete.

I guess Alice fans aint got that kind of money? Things like this that are kind of unique are probably quite difficult to sell so they probably need to keep relisting. Sorry about the spam- sure didn't come from me.

Didn't think it did. But, it did take awhile for it to calm down also. Haven't checked on the latest auction either. Curious but, I don't want the Spam to resume. I didn't want it anyway, not at that price!Dr Chickentown wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 8:22 amI guess Alice fans aint got that kind of money? Re: Billion Dollar Belt ?
Sure this is necroposting but I just have to chime in here
First off, as far as expensive memorabilia goes, for me, rarity or uniqueness is just one component to getting big dollars. I think you need some evidence/provenance. This belt surely is rare even unique but I've never seen or heard of existence before this thread. Maybe others have but no one chimed in so it simply looks like a fan or entrepreneur try to make a buck. Not that I'm entirely against that but for the most part I am. Genuine artifacts are one thing but come prepared with evidence, if not be honest with the listing and price it accordingly.
Secondly, people like Dr. Chickentown obviously have some specific interest in this listing, if not the actual seller. 3 posts total all in this thread. GTFO! Total spam bs.
There, I feel better
