Piggy D

Piggy D

'Piggy D' is guitarist, bassist and artist Matt Mongomery, most famous for playing with Rob Zombie and Wednesday 13. A self-confessed Cooper fan Piggy D co-directed (with his then wife/photographer Gabrielle Geiselman) the 'Along Came A Spider' mini-movie used to promote the album, and also created the cover graphics. He co-wrote and produced the special 'Keepin' Halloween Alive' single in 2009, and co-wrote 'Last Man On Earth' for the 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' in 2011.

Calico Cooper sings backup vocals on Piggy's 2007 album 'The Evacuation Plan' while ex-Alice drummer Tommy Clufetos plays all the drums.

What many people don't realise is that he's also behind the 'Black Victory' company who provided stage costumes and props for Alice and the band over a number of years.

In 2018 Piggy provided original music for the Alice Cooper 'Nightmare Castle' pinball game, which he later released on YouTube for those who couldn't afford the very expensive game itself. While the music isn't really fully formed songs, there is a distinct sense that if Piggy was given the chance to work on a full album with Alice it could be something really special and different.
