"There was a completely false "news" report in Veronica Radio's online magazine in Holland yesterday (Friday, 28th January 2011), claiming that there is a forthcoming movie on Alice's life that will commence filming in February and also that this year's tour will be his last. Both of these "news" reports are completely false and we have no idea as to their source."
Meanwhile Alice Cooper has been confirmed as playing the Spanish Sonisphere Festival in Madrid on July 16th. He's also been confirmed as headlining the second stage at Download on the saturday night (June 11th) as we suspected.
Alice is all over the press the last couple of days after making comments on Robert Plants' refusal to reform Led Zeppelin. Not much of a story really but as everywhere seems to have picked up on it you can check out an example here.

Damon Johnson will be on 'Live From Music City' on Tuesday February 1st between 9pm and 10.20pm EDT discussing his career. You can listen online.

Planet Rock have published the results of their end of year listener poll and Alice Cooper has done pretty well! Alice came 5th in the 'Band of theYear', 6th in 'Live Act of the Year', 4th in the 'Event of the Year' for the Halloween Roundhouse shows, and 3rd in 'Film of the Year' for the 'Theater Of Death' DVD. Not only that but he can also claim partial credit for appearing on Slash's 'Album of the Year' and at Sonisphere, voted 3rd 'Festival of the Year'.
Alice of course appears on Planet Rock every evening with 'Nights With Alice Cooper'.
Chuck Garric is in LA this month Rehearsing with Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters. The Boxmasters will be performing Jan 15th at the Tony La Russa's Animal Rescue Foundation in St. Loius MI. It's a really great foundation check out the link http://www.tlr-arf.org/.
For those with access to tickets Chuck will also be at NAMM again this year. Stop by the HARTKE BOOTH at 3:30 Chuck along with Geezer Butler, Mike Inez and others will be doing a signing. NAMM is a industry only event.

It what appears to now be an annual thing, Alice again has a car featured in the Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson car auction, this time it's a 1969 Camero. with a signed guitar included as well. The auction runs between Jan 17th and 23rd.
Possibly the strangest band ever took to the stage in Maui on New Years even in aid of the Maui Food bank. AC.com has photos of James Hetfield (Metallica), Mick Fleetwood (Fleetwood Mac), Pat Simmons (The Doobie Brothers) and Mike Kroeger (Nickleback) on stage with Alice for 'School's Out!'
