Below are the complete SickthingsUK news archives going back to 2004 when I first added news to the front page.
NOTE: The further back you go, the less likely it is that links and images will work, because the original sites no longer have the articles.

Gibson have an article on the original bands classic sound and interview Michael Bruce and Dennis Dunaway.

Glen Sobel has been recording with 'Villains De Vaudeville', a new band project from Kenny Kweens (LA Guns), in California for an album which should be released in the summer.

Alice appears as one of many stars interviewed about the legendary Detroit venue The Grande Ballroom (where the band played many times in the early days) in a new documentary entitled 'Louder Than Love: The Grande Ballroom Story' by director Tony D'Annunzio. Metro Times have more about the film.

Alice is also interviewed for another documentary, this time 'The Story Of Rock and Roll Comics' which is due out on DVD in the USA on April 24th. The film is the story of Todd Loren, publisher of a series of comic biographies back in the early 90s including one based on the Alice Cooper story.

The storage facility in Los Angeles which houses the Alice Cooper Archives was broken into on March 27, along with three other storage units. A police report has been filed. Items missing include a large quantity of original vinyl records, a jacket, and the original sculpture which was used for the cover of the "Hey Stoopid" album.
With multiple units broken into, we don't believe Alice's Archives was specifically targeted.
If anyone sees anything suspicious or hears anything about these stolen items -- especially on the internet or in Los Angeles -- please let us know at Thanks Sickthings!

For those of you who missed the Jaegermeister 4D event at Battersea Power Station in London last year (featuring the original band and Steve Hunter), a clip of 'School's Out' from the 'Broadcast' has surfaced on YouTube with the promise the rest of the show will follow.

The official Alice Facebook page has posted photos of Alice's costume for the 'Dark Shadows' movie. Set in 1972 the costume recreates Alice's stage costume form the period, while Alice himself will be digitally retro-aged to make him look more like he did back then.

Arizona Golf Central magazine has a cover and article about Alice and you can read it on their site.

After a lot of anticipation over the weeks since Steve Hunter announced he would sadly not be touring with the band this year, Alice finally announced his replacement last night on 'Nights With Alice Cooper'. We're overjoyed to confirm that the one and only Ryan Roxie is back in the Alice Cooper band for the forthcoming tour!!! He'll be joining Tommy Henriksen and Orianthi on guitar, Chuck Garric on bass and Glenn Sobel on drums. Alice added that Steve Hunter will still be involved with future recordings.
Roxie, of course, previously toured and recorded with Alice between 1996 and 2006 and became a big part of Alice Cooper shows for those years before stepping down to spend more time with his young family.

Roxie's Back

Ryan sent the following message through:
"I can't even begin to express how excited I am to have the opportunity to be a part of this years touring line-up….to be able to contribute musically with Alice & the band, perform for all you faithful Cooper fans, and have the chance to play guitar on stage next to one of rock music's coolest icons….well, let's just say I definitely plan to 'enjoy the ride'….and yes, just like all good sports-related interview ending quotes, I also plan on 'taking it one show at a time' and giving it '110%' ;) ….looking forward to seeing all you Sick Things out there in 2012!"

Amazon are listing a NEW version of 'No More Mr Nice Guy Live' to be released on April 10th through EMM. A double CD, this looks like it will NOT be the same as the ConcertLive CD that has been listed as a new release on Amazon for some time, and was also available to buy at shows last year. Also listed on Amazon is a reissue of the tribute abum released a few years ago. Entitled 'Going To Hell: A Tribute To Alice Cooper" this appears from the track list to simply be the 'Humanary Stew' album reissued with a new title. Dennis and Cindy Dunaway were also at RIFF in the Bowery, NYC earlier this week for a music themed art event hosted by Andy Hilfiger. The Wall Street Journal ran a report, with a photo of the Dunaways, and Dennis performed with Hilfiger, Marky Ramone and Michael H for a forthcoming HGTV show called 'Selling NY', airdate to follow.

Finally, there could be some downtime for STUK over the next couple of days while I do some updates and impliment a new look to the site. Some things can only be tested 'live' so you may expect some strange behavior on occasions, but I'll try and keep it to a minimum.
