Below are the complete SickthingsUK news archives going back to 2004 when I first added news to the front page.
NOTE: The further back you go, the less likely it is that links and images will work, because the original sites no longer have the articles.

STUK sends out all our best wishes to Steve and Karen Hunter after Steve had another heart operation yesterday. Karen reports that it seems successful and Steve is currently recovering in Phoenix. In a post to facebook Karen says "Just saw Steve in recovery room, he is drowsy but already looks and sounds better than the previous time which was only 10 days ago. Dr says it was tricky to get to the trigger point they thought was the culprit but he feels confidant they got it and Steve's heartbeat is rock steady for the first time in ages. I thank God and all the best wishes and prayers from you guys. You all know how much we want to put this behind us. Xx"
Steve's new album 'The Manhatten Blues Project' is out now.
Orianthi has some solo shows lined up with Chuck Garric and Glen Sobel backing her up. The first is the previously announced Las Vegas show on April 25th at 'Vinyl at The Hard Rock Hotel And Casino' which are followed by shows in Japan between May 13th and May 17th. Unfortunatly all the info is in Japanese so I can't offer much more beyond the fact that the May 14th show appears to be in Tokyo and May 17th show appears to be in Osaka, both at venues called 'Billboard Live'.
Sadly the 'Uncle Alice Presents..' Kickstarter campaign failed to reach it's $200,000 target. Where this leaves the project hasn't been announced but maybe funding will appear from another source. Contary to what seemed the general perception this was NOT an Alice Cooper project but the idea of a small company called 'Dark Matter' who are just starting out (hence the campaign) that would feature Alice. Still, it's a shame this may never now happen.
Blue Coupe play at the Cutting Room in NYC on April 27th. This is a show to mark the release of the new BC album 'Million Miles More' which you can order here (and features Alice on one track). Tickets available here. This will be followed up with more US shows throughout the year (starting May 3rd) some of which are already announced. Full details can be at the official Blue Coupe site.
Metal Sludge has a recent interview with Kane Roberts during which he talks about working with Alice.
Alice Cooper drummer Glen Sobel has been nominated in two catagories of the Drum Magazine reader's poll. He's up for the "Rising Star" and "Rock/Metal" awards. Says Glen: "OK here's the deal- Never once have I asked for anyone to vote for me for anything...ever...BUT. I am nominated in DRUM! Magazine's readers poll in 2 categories-"Rising Star" & "Rock/Metal". Takes 20 seconds & u don't have to vote in every category. I'd love you guys forever if you'd cast your vote for me. Thanks!! I'm honored to say the least :)"
So you know what you have to do! Go to Drum Magazine and get voting!!
Bill Crowe sadly posted the following yesterday:
Sadly, yesterday, after a battle against a respiratory ailment, Dali (Alice's UK snake of some years) was put to sleep! A veteran of Donington, 2 UK Night of Fear tours plus the 100 Club gig in London, Dali also featured on the cover of W2MN and book. Photographed by Ross Halfin and star of numerous Gallus Cooper shows!! He was a great performer and will be sorely missed!!"
