The Swedish snake saga continues.. After finding a snake for Saturday's show it now appears the owner has withdrawn due to all the 'media pressure' the story has created! Fear not though as yet another snake is now in the picture and the owner has requested not to have his name released. Will or won't Alice actually have a snake tomorrow? We'll have to wait and see. If, unlike me, you speak Swedish you can follow the story here and here.

'Alice Cooper - Le Parrain Du Shock Rock' is a new Alice Cooper book (pictured left) by Eric Tessier that has just been published in France by Camion Blanc. The 350 pages are in French, but you can still order the real book or a kindle version now via AmazonUK or presumably at AmazonUS soon as well.

According to Billboard 'Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon", the documentary directed by 'Waynes World' star Mike Myers, will premiere at the Toronto international Film Festival in September. has a few words with Myers on meeting Shep Gordon for the first time. now has most of the new US tour dates on sale, as well as Platinum VIP meet and greet packages.

Scream Factory have announced the special features for their upcoming collectors edition of John Carpenters 'Prince OF Darkness' and they include a new interview with Alice called 'Alice at the Apocalypse'.

Following on from the recent Swedish stories following Alice's search for a snake to use at Saturday's show it seems the Swedish Board of Agriculture has now stepped in with fears that the snake will feel "stressed" during the show. They have declared that while there is no ban on using the snake they don't think it is "suitable". Surely they are about 30 years to late to worry about it now! There are three articles you can check out (in Swedish of course) at Aftonbladet, Nyheter (with a photo of the snake in question) and SverigesRadio.

Bobs son Jerry and his half brother Sasha have been taken out of the USA to Europe by their Slovakian mother, against a court order granting Bob sole legal custody, and dispite every effort he hasn't had any contact with them for a year. The Cooper community is an international comunity so please check out facebook and contact Bob if by any chance you have seen anything or can help in any way.

Alice was in Sioux Falls on Friday at the Brennan Rock and Roll Academy for the opening of a recording studio named after 'Welcome To My Nightmare'. Keloland, Argus Leader and KSFY have video.

Lots of sites have picked up on Alice's comments in the Fuse video the other day about 'Mumford and Sons' but seem to have purposely missed the point of what Alice actually said, claiming Alice was "slamming" them and 'The Lumineeers'. If you actually listen he did nothing of the sort. He simply pointed out they weren't rock and roll bands. He actually stated they were very good at what they did, just that it wasn't rock. Unfortunately that isn't interesting enough for these "journalists" so they have just reported what they wanted to hear.

Minnesota Star Tribune, Billboard, and Minneapolis City Pages have new interviews with Alice.

USA Today have a short video from Fretlight Guitars with Alice talking about Keith Moon.
