Below are the complete SickthingsUK news archives going back to 2004 when I first added news to the front page.
NOTE: The further back you go, the less likely it is that links and images will work, because the original sites no longer have the articles.

The Huffington Post has a new interview with Shep Gordon promoting "Supermensch: The Legend Of Shep Gordon".

A new Alice quote is doing the rounds of all the news sites at the moment. "It's been a really funny thing now. All the girls are doing the big productions," Cooper said in a recent interview. "Shakira, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga — it seems like all the girls decided to do it big these days."

"Skum Rocks" is a new film that features narration by Alice. The film "chronicles the hilarious and unbelievable true story of the rise and fall of one of the weirdest acts in rock history.". More info can be found here.

Italy's Republica has a long article in Italian.

Lastly, I keep forgetting to post Damon Johnson's new Black Star Riders UK dates up so here they are. The band have just recruited Robbie Crane to replace the departed Marco Mendoza.

The Ameriswede EPRyan Roxie and Roxie 77 will have a new 6 track EP released on July 7th (7/7) through Bellyache Records entitled "The Ameriswede EP". Of course being a Roxie 77 record there has to be a twist, and this time the EP will contain two different versions of each of the six new songs. On the excellent 'Two Sides To Every Story' album a few years ago this meant both electric and acoustic versions of each song. On "The Ameriswede EP" you get two different mixes of each song. Side A (The American side) features the six songs mixed by the one and only Tommy Henriksen, while Side B (The Swedish side) has the songs mixed by Swede Jon Bordon. On top of that the first pressing will consist of 500 vinyl copies with the first 77 copies pressed on red vinyl (the rest being standard black vinyl) but it will come with a free digital download and a CD for those without a record player. Bellyache Records are accepting pre-orders now and with only 500 copies of the first pressing it's likely to run out fast so grab yours soon! All pre-orders will also recieve a 4 button (badge) set as well!
