David Draiman to guest with Nita Strauss in Los Angeles

No big news to report in the last week or so but a few things to cover before they are out of date:

Disturbed singer David Draiman is set to make a guest appearance at Nita Strauss’ Whisky A Go Go show tonight in Hollywood CA. It had to happen at some point after he guested on Nita’s latest single ‘Dead Inside’ and Draiman himself confirmed in on Facebook a couple of days ago. Nita’s new solo album is due soon and will feature guest appearances by a few more of her favourite vocalists.
UPDATE: And here’s video from last night!

A few weeks ago on ‘The Masked Singer’ in the US a character called ‘Jester’ did a surprisingly decent version of ‘School’s Out’. Turns out under the mask was legendary Sex Pistols/PIL vocalist John Lydon, a long time fan of early Alice Cooper. Check out the video here.

There’s another Alice Cooper tribute album on the way but this one could be a little different. It’s called ‘Hail To Hell: An Acoustic Tribute To Alice Cooper’ by Eric McFadden and features a very eclectic selection of songs including ‘Laughing At Me’, ‘Man With The Golden Gun’ and ‘Former Lee Warmer’. It’s out on November 30th and you can order a copy here.

Lastly a reminder of another tribute album released on November 27th called ‘Killer: 50 Years Later’ that recreates the original Killer album and features a bunch of up and coming band doing a great job covering the Cooper classics. You can order and listen to three tracks on the Pale Wizard Records bandcamp page here. You can see the cover below.
